
MICAH CAMP
Co-Director | Company Dancer
Micah is a multidisciplinary dance artist and choreographer with training in ballet, contemporary, modern, jazz, hip-hop, and tap. Originally from Reno, Nevada, Micah began dancing at the age of seven and went on to earn a BFA in Dance from Cornish College of the Arts. There, Micah worked closely with faculty members Wade Madsen, Deborah Wolf, Michele Miller, Patricia Hon, and Gerard Théorêt, as well as guest choreographer Kate Wallich.
From 2017 to 2020, Micah performed in Cornish Dance Theater and premiered original works in student-produced concerts New Moves and Terpsichore Landing, including Anxiety, Habits, Just A Phase, and Continuum.
Micah’s performance credits include appearances in the Reno Dance Festival and the TMCC Winter Dance Concert. Most recently, in March 2025, Micah co-produced and performed in Continuum, an evening-length production in collaboration with Andrew Paiz under their company, Convergence Dance Collective. Micah continues to explore the intersections of movement, emotion, and storytelling through performance and choreography.

ANDREW PAIZ
Co-Director | Company Dancer
Andrew is a local dancer, choreographer, and teacher who graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in Spring 2023 with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Dance and French as well as a minor in English Literature. During his time at UNR, Andrew worked with the Miami-based guest artist Rosie Herrera, and he was given a leading solo role in her dance film Encanto. Andrew also danced in works by the Switzerland-based physical theater artist Shinichi Iova-Koga and the local contemporary choreographer Maggie Stack, as well as by professors Nate Hodges and Rosie Trump. Andrew was also given the opportunity to attend American College Dance Association regional conferences in the Spring of 2019 and 2023, presenting “Sugar” by Nate Hodges and “Contention” by Kenny Carter, Anthony McMenamy, and Andrew Paiz.
Andrew has also had the pleasure of performing at and choreographing for many local events, with two of his favorites being Reno Dance Festival and Northern Nevada Pride. He currently choreographs for Truckee Meadows Community College; teaches contemporary, jazz, and hip hop at Dancin! Performing Arts Center; and recently became the leader of the Dance Department at the Sparks location of Gymnastics Nevada. He is also a company member of local tap dance company The Dapper Tappers and has joined the local contemporary dance company Collateral & Co for their 2025 season. Through Convergence Dance Collective, he hopes to cultivate a safe space for artists of all backgrounds.

KRISTIN AUSTIN
Company Dancer
Born and Raised in Las Vegas, NV and living in Reno for the last decade – Kristin is a local student, teacher, dancer, choreographer, poet, and artist with a passion for community, and engagement.
She has a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Nevada, Reno, with minors in Dance and CASAT (2018), and is a Master’s Candidate for her M.F.A. in Interdisciplinary Arts (2026) from her alma mater.
As young as 3, she was dancing – studying Fosse style Jazz and Classical Ballet. Once in high school, and beyond, she shifted her dance studies to more Modern and Post-Modern styles, including, but not limited to, Skinner’s “Release” technique, and modern techniques, like Martha Graham’s and Jose Limón’s.
In her collegiate dance studies, she expanded into more Post-Modern and improvisational techniques – studying under Rosie Trump, Cari Cunningham, and Eve Allen-Garza- She continues to expand on these methods today, in her personal practice, and professional work.
Kristin has performed for artists like Rosie Trump (2023), Keely Cobb (2019-2023), resident artist Gallim Dance (Understudy//2015), Karen Burns (2022-2023), and the late Kristen Avansino (2015 & 2016).
As a choreographer, she has presented student work like, “A Thread in the Material” (UNR//2016) and “Constellations”(UNR//2017), and her first professional work, “On Healing: Resonance” at the Reno Dance Festival in 2023. She looks to continue that recent work in the near future in a full evening length show.
Kristin very sincerely looks forward to working with the Convergence Dance Collective. and is excited for the future of this vision that’s being created.

Leslie Balzer
Company Dancer
Leslie began her dance career in high school as a Dance major at Las Vegas Academy of the Arts. Leslie then made her journey to Reno, to go on to graduate from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies in May of 2018, a Master of Science in Equity and Diversity in Education in May of 2020, and is now a doctoral student studying Education with an emphasis is Equity, Diversity, and Language Education. Throughout her collegiate education, Leslie was given the opportunity to dance for Cari Cunningham; KJ Dahlaw; Andrea Miller, Artistic Director of NYC based Gallim Dance; and Rosie Trump. Leslie was able to attend the American College Dance Association in the Spring of 2016 and 2018 – presenting Rosie Trump’s ‘Ordinary Things,’ Leslie Balzer and Sonja Petersen’s ‘My Own Worst Enemy,’ and Cari Cunningham’s ‘Unforeseeable.’ Since her collegiate experience, Leslie worked as the Assistant Artistic Director and Dance Artist for a local contemporary dance company, Collateral and Co. Now choreographing for Truckee Meadows Community College, Leslie’s interest in movement continues to grow alongside her professional journey, as she is excited to see her passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion continue to collide with dance.

ROSE BARBER-CALLICRATE
Company Dancer
Rose is a local dancer, actor, and model who’s danced for over 12 years in Northern Nevada. She has been trained in a variety of dance styles including jazz, musical theatre, modern, contemporary, hip hop, ballet, silks, and her favorite, tap. She has performed in many local productions at the Fascinating Rhythm dance school and most recently walked the runway at the Reno Fashion Show this July. She graduated from Damonte Ranch High School this spring after attending the PAC Dance program and performing/competing on the dance team. She is thrilled to be a member of Convergence Dance Collective as well as a part of the company of The Dapper Tappers. Rose is currently a freshman at the University of Nevada, Reno and a ballet teacher in the Reno area.

ADDISYN CACCHIONE
Company Dancer
Addisyn grew up as a gymnast with dreams of doing college gymnastics. When she turned 11 and started dancing in Illinois, her dream changed and she wanted to turn into a dancer. After moving to Las Vegas and joining the Bonzanza Dance Company at 15 years old, she started receiving accolades and awards for solos she choreographed including 2nd place for Dancer of the Year and superior in duets at dance festivals.
Addisyn then moved up to Reno to attend the UNR dance program with a major in Dance and Film. During this time, she was given the opportunity to work with the Martha Graham Dance Company and studied under Rosie Trump, Nate Hodges, Cari Cunningham, and Eve Allen Garza. She now works as a gymnastics coach while pursuing dance with Convergence Dance Collective.

SAMANTHA DETIBERIIS
Company Dancer
Samantha is a Reno-based dancer, choreographer, and instructor who fell in love with the art of dance 19 years ago. Samantha has danced with Around the Stage Modern Dance Company and has performed and trained in the UNR dance program throughout her time in Reno. Additionally, Samantha has presented her work at Reno Dance Festival, and she currently enjoys teaching and choreographing for Art in Motion dance studio, where she focuses on lyrical, contemporary, and jazz. Outside of dance, Samantha has earned her BA in Criminal Justice, BA in Psychology, and MA degree in Criminal Justice, and she holds a deep passion for advocacy of humane accountability within correctional institutions. Samantha is a stoked to have recently joined Convergence Dance Collective as an avenue to continue sharing her passion of dance.

JADEE HIGGINS
Company Dancer
Jadee is a local dancer from Reno, Nevada, who is currently a dance minor at
the University of Nevada, Reno. Jadee grew up dancing at a local dance studio, the Fascinating Rhythm School of Performing Arts, and participated in many dance productions there as well as being part of the studio’s competition team. During her time as a competition dancer, she had the chance to dance in pieces choreographed by a variety of local and non-local choreographers. In her time so far at UNR, she has performed in the 2023 Fall Dance Festival, the 2024 student
choreography showcase, and has been castin the upcoming 2024 Fall Dance festival. In the future, she hopes to build her dance career with more diverse opportunities, and is looking forward to performing with the Convergence Dance Collective.

NOEL MARTIN
Company Dancer
Noel has been dancing since the age of six, and her passion for movement has shaped her life both on and off the stage. In Spring 2024, she graduated with a major in Early Childhood Education and Human Development & Family Studies, along with a minor in dance. Through her studies, Noel had the privilege of working with many influential artists, and trained in a variety of styles and disciplines that helped her refine her technique and artistic voice.
When Noel isn’t performing, she finds fulfillment in teaching elementary school, where she nurtures creativity and curiosity in her students. Her dual experiences in dance and education have shaped her belief in the power of artistic expression as a tool for growth and learning. Now, Noel is thrilled to share her passion and joy for dance in her upcoming performance, eager to bring years of dedication to life on stage for others to experience.

DEIDRE MCCORMICK
Company Dancer
Deidre is a local dancer and teacher. She grew up in Reno dancing under the guide of Diane Guest-Hoff at Nevada Dance Academy from 2011-2022. Deidre has completed her Cecchetti Examinations grades one, two, and three. 2013-2017 Deidre performed various roles in Bay Pointe Ballet’s Nutcracker directed by Bruce Steivel. For the last several years she performed in Siamsa a Celtic Christmas directed by Amanda Coulson. Last fall Deidre performed for Elemental Echoes which featured several local choreographers and performers. Deidre’s most recent work has been with Reno Dance Company, directed by Lesa Dusich, performing in Nutcracker, Snow White and the Magic Mirror, and Rock This Country. She currently dances in styles ballet, pointe, contemporary, tap, and jazz and is a company member at Reno Dance Company.

ANTHONY MCMENAMY
Company Dancer
Anthony was born and raised in Carson City, NV. Anthony trained at Western Nevada Performing Arts Center in Carson directed by Gina Kaskie Davis and studied ballet with Rosine Bena. Anthony began performing in children’s roles in Sierra Nevada Ballet’s annual Peanutcracker and formally joined the SNB company in 2021 where he has since risen to the rank of soloist. He has been featured in SNB’s Dracula; Brew, Brats and Ballet; Swan Lake; and The Last Unicorn. He graduated from the University of Nevada – Reno with BAs in Dance and Philosophy where he was awarded the Roger L. Breuer Endowed Scholarship for the Arts. There, he performed lead roles in works by Philip Flickinger and Maggie Stack, studied Modern Dance with Rosie Trump and Cari Cunningham and Jazz with Nate Hodges, while also learning excerpts of Paul Taylor’s works under Rachel Berman. He teaches contemporary and tap at Western Nevada Performing Arts Center. He most recently joined Convergence Dance Collective where he will perform contemporary works with fellow dance artists.

CORINNE UNDERCOFFER
Company Dancer
Corinne is a 25 year old dance performer, teacher and choreographer who has revolved her life around the practice for the past 23 years. Her love for the art ignited at an early age; therefore, propelling her on many relative endeavors such as, performing on stage, teaching at studios and choreographing for competitions her students attend. She has been involved in many passion projects that further allow her to explore her personal movement. From dancing in the artistic group, Hivemind, to performing for the company Moderngram and teaching at numerous local studios, she has not only developed technical skills but a passion for the art that is at times vastly incomprehensible. She touches on evolving this passion to her students as she believes in its higher importance. Movement and a deeper understanding of the human body is something she focuses on as well by using her background experience with Physical Therapy. Corinne studied at the University of Nevada, Reno, and has further developed her understanding of dance history, improvisational scores and choreographic development. She speaks of dance as her medium, her language and her soul. She thrives best in interactive environments where she can share her love for the art, and yearns to bring its emotional and spiritual power to the surface.

MARY WEEKLEY
Project Dancer
Mary was a J and J Performing Arts dancer for 13 years in Susanville, California. She began her dance career at age 5 and she was a competitive dancer for 8 years. Mary was also on the Susanville City Kickette team for 4 years and on her high school dance/drill team for 4 years. She has done a lot of community service with dance and has also helped teach throughout the years at her dance studio and around the community. She has studied multiple styles of dance, such as ballet, jazz, tap, modern, acro, hip hop, and clogging.
